Scripture – Revelation 5
Jesus Christ is the victorious Lion of the Tribe of Judah because He conquered Satan and sin by willingly allowing Himself to be crucified as an atonement for our sin. Only the perfect, spotless Lamb of God would be worthy to atone for our sin. And then Jesus Christ conquered death by rising from the grave, alive forevermore! He is the slain Lamb who is standing before the throne of God the Father! And He alone is worthy to take the scroll from the right hand of His Father and open the seals to unleash the remainder of history.
