In this episode the pastors answer questions about baptism that we received from a covenant member.
- You all seem to stress baptism within a local church. Would you dissuade or not confirm someone who chose to be baptized with just family at the lake or in a swimming pool?
- Who is qualified to baptize? Only men? Pastors? Any believer?
- What exactly are we looking for in regards to our children being baptized? How can we look for fruit in their lives without making them feel discouraged and like we expect perfection or that they must “earn” baptism?
- It seems like, in the Bible, people who believe and confess are immediately baptized that same day. Is that not accurate or not the model we are using?
