This is the second part of a three-part conversation about how Christians relate to the Law of God. This part of the conversation focuses on the different uses of the Law. In the Reformed tradition theologians typically use a three-fold delineation:
- To act as a mirror, reflecting to us our own sinfulness, in light of God’s holy righteousness.
- To restrain evil in society.
- To guide believers into a manner of life that glorifies and pleases God.
