My Story
I was born into a loving, Christian family that attended church whenever the doors were open. God called me throughout my early and teenage years, but I consistently said no, all the time struggling within myself and knowing it was to my demise. God still gave me grace, though, gently calling me over and over, culminating in a firmer call when I was nineteen years old. While on a ski trip that year, the brakes of our vehicle failed, sending us plummeting down the mountainside. We were headed toward a deep ravine, but suddenly we came to a screeching halt. God saved us! The twelve-hour ride home was introspective, to say the least. I walked away from that experience truly believing in God and was baptized right away.
Over the years, God has led me through many blessings and challenges, each one revealing His grace and His love more and more. He has answered my prayers for a fabulous wife of 40+ years(Francie), two wonderful children, two terrific grandchildren, jobs, and consolation after the deaths of parents. I could go on, but this evidence does not begin to cover what I cannot see or understand. I am daily thankful for His mercy!
The Lord has blessed our retirement years with traveling, long walks, bike rides, and serving and spending time with our family. God is good!

My Hope for Peine Ridge Church
My hope for PRC is that we will always stay devoted to God’s Holy Word, to the praise and glory of our Risen Savior, Jesus Christ, alone.
