Third Sunday Gatherings for 2020

In Colossians 3:16, the Lord gives us this command: “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” This command is given to us for our joy and, though we already gather for this purpose on Sunday mornings, Peine Families, and Discipleship Groups, in 2020 we want to provide more opportunities to do this regularly as a whole church family

To that end, we invite you to gather with us on the Third Sunday evening (4 p.m.) of each month throughout the year. Three of these gatherings will be our regular covenant member gatherings, where the pastors will share updates and exhortations related to our church family. One will be our traditional Night of Thanks. Others will be dedicated to a specific focus on prayer, and the remainder will be focused on reading Scripture and singing worship songs together.

We plan to have these gatherings at 4 p.m. on the third Sunday of each month, except for possible adjustments made due to holiday weekends, etc… Please go ahead and make plans to join us by blocking out these dates on your calendar.  (Our next one will be on Sunday, February 16th, at 4 p.m.)

We look forward to seeing how the Holy Spirit uses these times to encourage us and further knit our hearts together in love! (Col. 2:2)
