Wisdom is better than power, money, fame, and… foolishness. Foolishness is an aspect of sinfulness and it always brings destruction. Yet, still we need to be taught and reminded to value wisdom and despise foolishness because our hearts often want to do the opposite. We must fear God, pursue wisdom, and believe what God says in His Word about wisdom and foolishness in every area of our lives. For only he who seeks hard after wisdom who is able to live with deeper joy, sweeter peace, stronger hope, better relationships, and more God-glorifying faith in, submission to, and communion with God.
