In Ecclesiastes 8:1-13, Solomon, who was king at the height of Israel’s power, gives advice to people when dealing with the king, and by extension, to anyone who lives under the authority of sinful people. And he makes the case for trusting in the sovereignty of God, who is the King of the universe.
