WHAT TO EXPECT

We know that worshiping with an unfamiliar church can be an intimidating experience. Knowing what to expect can help.
Here is what it’s like to gather with us on Sunday mornings.

Dress Casual

We dress casually. Feel free to wear shorts, blue jeans, slacks, or a dress. Wear what feels comfortable to you.

Worship Through Giving

We believe that giving should be done joyfully and in faith as an act of worship. Giving is only expected of our Covenant Members. Others who feel led to give may do so online or by utilizing the offering box located at the back of the auditorium.

Connection Cards

We provide Connection Cards that give you the opportunity to tell us about yourself. Know that your information will remain confidential.

Gathering Time

Our gatherings last around 90 minutes. They are centered on Christ and filled with music, singing, praying, preaching from the Bible, and weekly Communion. Visit our Prepare for Gathered Worship page to get a feel for the kinds of songs we use as we worship through singing.

Peine Kids

It is important to us that families be free to worship together, but we also know it may be a real blessing for them to have some extra help during the preaching portion of our gathering. Parents may place their children, ages 1–7, into the care of our Peine Kids Ministry. This class time includes prayer, a gospel-focused story from the Bible, crafts, a light snack, and a Scripture memory verse. Children are divided into three groups: ages 1–3, ages 3–5, and ages 5–7.
