Scripture – Mark 6:14-29
Alongside proclaiming the Good News of the kingdom, we are sent to call people to repent so that they may enter into the kingdom. This makes the message of repentance a sweet message. But, the message of repentance calls people to change their, it calls people to urgent action, and it calls people to take the hard path, going against the current. Therefore, sinners will sometimes go to great lengths to silence the voice that exposes their sin. This makes it a dangerous message.
